Cancellation and Refund Policy for Strategic Achievement Coaching Packages
Strategic Achievement Coaching aims to provide high-quality coaching services tailored to your needs. We understand that circumstances may change, and we have created this policy to ensure clarity and fairness in the event of a cancellation or refund request. By purchasing a
coaching package, you agree to these terms.
General Cancellation Policy
Coaching Sessions
Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a session, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Sessions cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time may not be
rescheduled or refunded.
- No-Show Policy: If you fail to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the session will
be considered completed, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.
Coaching Packages
Coaching packages are designed to be completed within the recommended timeframe for optimal results:
- Full Journey Package: 6 months
- Direction Setting Package: 3 months
- Career Focus Package: 10 months
- All other packages are as outlined in your package description.
Failure to complete the sessions within the recommended timeframe may forfeit unused sessions unless otherwise agreed upon with Dr. Carol McGowan.
Refund Policy
Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are provided in the following circumstances:
- If you cancel your coaching package within 7 days of purchase and before any sessions have taken place, you are eligible for a full refund.
- If you cancel after the 7-day cooling-off period but before the first session, you will receive a refund minus a $100 administrative fee.
- Once sessions have commenced, refunds will be offered pro-rata for unused sessions, minus a $100 administrative fee.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided:
- For sessions already completed, including check-ins or partial sessions.
- If you fail to attend scheduled sessions without providing sufficient notice.
- For digital resources or assessments provided as part of the package (e.g., Strengths Profile Assessment).
Package-Specific Policies
Express Check-In Package (AUD 500)
- This is a one-off session and is non-refundable once the session has been booked and confirmed.
Direction Setting Package (AUD 2,250)
Refunds for unused sessions will be calculated based on the number of hours completed out of the total 6 hours included in the package.
- Two additional short check-ins are provided free of charge and are not eligible for a refund.
Full Journey Package (AUD 4,200)
Refunds for unused sessions will be calculated based on the number of hours completed out of the total 12 hours included in the package.
- The Strengths Profile Assessment and debrief are valued at AUD 450 and are non-refundable once accessed.
Career Spotlight Package (AUD 500)
- This is a one-off session and is non-refundable once the session has been booked and confirmed.
Job Seeking Package (AUD 1,200)
- Refunds are only eligible for unused hours, which are calculated pro rata.
- Resources for resume and cover letter development are considered non-refundable once
delivered.
Career Strategy Package (AUD 1,500)
- Refunds are only eligible for unused hours, which are calculated pro rata.
- Resources for resume and cover letter development are considered non-refundable once
delivered.
Career Focus Package (AUD 2,250)
- Refunds for unused sessions will be calculated based on the number of hours completed out of the total 10 hours included in the package.
- Refunds will not be provided if the package extends beyond 10 months without prior
agreement.
Coach Express Check-In Package (AUD 500)
- This is a one-off session and is non-refundable once the session has been booked and
confirmed.
New Coach Short Package (AUD 2,250)
- Refunds for unused sessions will be calculated based on the number of hours completed out of the total 6 hours included in the package.
- Two 10-minute check-ins are provided free of charge and are non-refundable.
New Coach Extended Package (AUD 2,250)
- Refunds for unused sessions will be calculated based on the number of hours completed out of the total 6 hours included in the package.
- Three 15-minute check-ins are provided free of charge and are non-refundable.
Experienced Coach Mentoring Package (AUD 2,250)
- Refunds for unused sessions will be calculated based on the number of hours completed out of the total 10 hours included in the package.
- Sessions must be completed within 10 months unless otherwise agreed upon.
Process for Cancellations and Refunds
How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To request a cancellation or refund:
- Email Dr. Carol McGowan at carol@strategicachievementcoaching.com.au.
- Include your name, purchase date, package name, and a brief explanation of your cancellation or refund request.
- Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval and issued to the original payment method.
Administrative Fees
For cancellations after the 7-day cooling-off period, refunds are subject to a $100 administrative fee. This non-negotiable fee covers processing and administrative costs.
Exceptions and Special Considerations
Compassionate circumstances (e.g., illness, personal emergencies) may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Dr. Carol McGowan directly to discuss your situation.
- If Strategic Achievement Coaching cancels a session or cannot provide the service as agreed,
a full refund for the impacted session(s) will be offered.
